Dinesh Patel (DiN) is a Gloucesershire-based multi-disciplinary musician, artist and designer who breathes new life into discarded objects & creative technology, His recent residency at The Wilson Museum explored the intersection of cultural heritage, contemporary expression and community engagement with the 2023 launch of "Wilson Nights", with Din drawing inspiration from his South Indian roots & Western Media influences, and a lifelong passion for music. With a background in graphic design and sitar, he explores the interplay between multi-dimensional sound and visual expression, working with: Planet Cheltenham, National Portrait Gallery London, International Center of Photography New York, Photographers: Mario Testino and Max Vadukul, Gustav Holst Birthplace Museum, Fashion Houses: Givenchy, Donna Karan, Kalavant Center for Music and Dance. Gustav Holst, was deeply immersed in Indian culture and philosophy? This connection shaped his work, and Cheltenham's own history as a "Calcutta in the Cotswolds" provides a unique and inspiring environment for exploring this multi-cultural fusion of creative arts.

In this experimental workshop led by artist Dinesh Patel, we'll connect Holst's fascination with Hindu mythology and art while unleashing our own creativity through the exploration of line, pattern and music.
